discovered late last year.
A former board member was
arrested over the weekend and charged

Panther Board
President Steve Lowery commented on the
recent arrest by stating: “We want to
reassure parents, participants and the
community that we have continued on with
the 2010 football and cheer season for
the children. We value the hundreds of
quality volunteers who continually
devote their time and energy in teaching
our children the important values of
good sportsmanship and teamwork. We have
children from communities all around us
participating in Panthers and we look
forward to another great season this
year.”
The Panther Jr.
Football and Cheerleading Association
elected a new board of directors in
January, 2010. The new board has added
additional safeguards to protect the
group’s financial processes.
The Panther Jr.
Football and Cheerleading 2010 season
begins Labor Day weekend.
